A Valentine for You

Isn't it fun to get a valentine from a friend? To know that someone is thinking about you and cares for you? That's what makes Valentine's Day so special. Everyone likes to be reminded that they have a special place in someone's heart.

It's great to get a lot of valentines on Valentine's Day. But even if you don't, there is someone very important who loves you and thinks you are special. God does!

God loves you so much that He sent you the best Valentine of all--His only Son Jesus--to be your Savior (John 3:16). He died on the cross to pay for all of the bad things that you have ever done. And three days later, Jesus rose from the dead. Now He is alive and has prepared a special place for you to live with Him in Heaven.

But the best part is that Jesus wants to come into your life to be your best friend. All you have to do is ask Him (Romans 10:9).

Just pray something like this:
Dear Jesus, I am sorry for all of the bad things that I have done. I believe that God sent you to die for my sins so that I can live with You forever in heaven. I want You to come into my life to be my best friend.

No matter how many valentines you get this year, remember that God loves you and sent His Son Jesus to be your friend and Savior--and that's the best valentine of all!
