125 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore. 3 For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil. 4 Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts. 5 But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel. Psalm 126 A Song of Ascents.126 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Yahweh has done great things for them." 3 Yahweh has done great things for us, and we are glad. 4 Restore our fortunes again, Yahweh, like the streams in the Negev. 5 Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. 6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves. Psalm 127 A Song of Ascents. By Solomon.127 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones. 3 Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate. Psalm 128 A Song of Ascents.128 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in his ways. 2 For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you. 3 Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table. 4 Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh. 5 May Yahweh bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. 6 Yes, may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel. Psalm 129 A Song of Ascents.129 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say, 2 many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me. 3 The plowers plowed on my back. They made their furrows long. 4 Yahweh is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked. 5 Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion. 6 Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up; 7 with which the reaper doesn't fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom. 8 Neither do those who go by say, "The blessing of Yahweh be on you. We bless you in the name of Yahweh." Psalm 130 A Song of Ascents.130 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh. 2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions. 3 If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? 4 But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared. 5 I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word. 6 My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning. 7 Israel, hope in Yahweh, for with Yahweh there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption. 8 He will redeem Israel from all their sins. Psalm 131 A Song of Ascents. By David.131 BIBLE VERSIONS
1 Yahweh, my heart isn't haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me. 2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3 Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore. Psalm 132 A Song of Ascents.
