Poem 10
My Dear Father
One of the greatest heroes in my life...
That should be my dear father
Who always watches over me
Wherever I go, wherever I live.
He's like the home of all my life,
The cool river in hot summer,
The warm blanket in cold winter...
He's protected me as much as he could!
He has done his best to satisfy my need.
He reads my mind and lives in my heart.
He knows what would be best for me
And teaches me how to achieve it!
He's always patient with me!
He was sad when I went the wrong way,
But he prayed God for help
To drive me back on the right trail!
He's taught me many great things.
He gives me the comfort I need.
He shows me how I should reach
To the glory of God for mankind!
Thank You, Lord, for giving me
My hero, my dad, who has made me see
How glorious You are in Heaven,
Where I can have faith for every moment!
