Poem 51
The Eternal Richest Wealth
One day, I was sick, lying on my bed I thought:
"What will happen to all my properties
If tomorrow would be my last day on earth?"
The more I thought the more I felt worse
Because I soon realized that:
"When I died and was buried under ground,
Nothing in my properties will go with me!
Only my soul - my spirit - will be around,
And come with me to Heaven
Where I truly have everything I need."
Don't you see, God is the Richest Man of all?
He can give us everything but others can't.
His wealth is the eternal wealth we should have!
It will satisfy our need and keep us safe.
For that reason, my friends, I hope you can see
That all the treasures on earth are not for ever.
Don't love the temporary things that last in hours,
But look for the Eternal Richest Wealth
From today and forever in your future as well!
