Poem 54
Pray and Wait
There were many times in my life
That I lost my patience 'cause nothing turned out right!
Consequently, I learned my lesson
Which was: "I must pray for God's help
And patiently wait for His wealth."
His ways are always the bests;
Therefore we should trust in Him and rest.
Do not worry about yesterday or tomorrow,
Because His help is coming our way!
My friends, whenever you have hard times,
Don't be discouraged nor let time take flight.
Come to Him right away in a quiet moment;
Faithfully pray day and night.
Don't give up, but patiently wait!
He will answer at the right time,
For He is kind and always with you
Despite how shattered life may seem to treat you!
