The Hidden Treat

Now that you've found the treat in the puzzle, there's a far better treat just waiting for you. It's a treat that won't melt like candy. It won't rot your teeth. And it won't give you a stomachache if you have too much.

This treat is a gift from God that you can enjoy forever. The Bible says, "God so loved the world [all of us], that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus Christ], that whosoever [any of us] believeth in Him should not perish [die], but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Everlasting life is just what it sounds like. It is a kind of life that you can start enjoying now and that will go on forever and ever. It is a life that you can only get from God.

God wants you to have everlasting life so much that He has taken care of the sin that separated you from Him. Sin is breaking God's laws, like cheating or lying or taking something that's not yours. The Bible says that we "All have sinned." And God cannot let any sin come into Heaven.

Even though we deserve to be punished, God still loves us. In fact, He loves us so much that He sent His Son from Heaven to take our sins away. Let's read the Bible verse again: "God so loved the world [all of us], that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus Christ], that whosoever [any of us] believeth in Him should not perish [die], but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

God is waiting for you to ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. You can pray something like this: "Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I have done wrong things. Thank You for taking my punishment for me. I invite You to come into my life and take my sins away."
