commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died

Jesus claims, "I am the
resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live." John 11:25
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
You can know the true meaning of Easter in your life today by taking these steps:
- Recognize that without Christ you are separated from God. In honest repentance admit your need to be saved: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
- Realize that God loves you, and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
- Receive the risen Christ into your life by faith, and trust Him as your Savior: "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12).
